Event Description

Morgantown Murder Mystery Dinner
- Supporting Operation Welcome Home -

This murder mystery is set in 1920’s Gangsterland. Mobsters, murder and comic may-hem ensue after the mysterious death of one of the “family”. Channel your inner gumshoe in this show featuring professional actors from a professional, national repertory company.

The evening begins with a cocktail hour in the Waterfront Hotel “speakeasy”. As guests move into the ballroom and begin the first course, our master of ceremonies will explain the rules of how this evening will work. Before our entrée is served, somebody is dead and an inves-tigation begins. As the dinner continues, shocking (and hilarious) secrets come revealed. After dessert, Final Sentencing Sheets are passed out to each table and each table deduces “who-dun-it”! Finally, awards are distributed to the table team that solves the crime first.

An Ambitious Goal: To be one of America’s Best Communities for Veterans.

Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff visited Morgantown in April 2010. During that visit, Admiral Mullen challenged Morgantown Area community leaders to provide a support mechanism for returning veterans and their families.

Operation Welcome Home is a common meeting place for Veterans to gather, share what’s on their mind, form bonds and simply relax with other Veterans who understand!

A caring community provides our heroes with rehabilitation services and supports, mentorship, counseling, transitional and employment services.
